Julia Hoyle 

Julia_HeadshotJulia Hoyle has more than 19 years experience in non-profit administration and consulting with businesses to make them more productive and profitable. She has nurtured an entrepreneurial spirit for almost as many years. And after years of researching business ideas, Hoyle formed Your Connection in 2009 capitalizing on her background in helping businesses thrive.
 
She began her career in workforce development in 1991 where she wrote On-the-Job Training Contracts. In 1994 she became the Assistant Director for the Pendleton District Private Industry Council (PDPIC).  In 1998, upon PDPIC changing its name to the Workforce Investment Board, Julia became the Director. Among many accomplishments, Hoyle led the agency in a rebranding effort thus changing the name to WorkLink. As a result community recognition increased significantly, enrollments soared, and partnerships strengthened.
 
Hoyle joined the Executive Board of the Southeastern Employment and Training Association (SETA) in 2001 as the SC State Representative. In 2005 she was elected to the position of 2nd Vice-President, moved up to 1st Vice-President followed by President of the association. She currently consults with SETA on membership and event planning.

She is a current member of the Pickens Area Society for Human Resource Management and served as President in 2001, 2002, and 2009. She is a member of the GFWC-Foothills Women’s Club and has served in many state level positions over the years. She is a licensee for the Joy of Connecting in Anderson and enjoys networking with other upstate professionals.

Hoyle received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Erskine College.  She has lived in the upstate of South Carolina most of her life and currently lives in Clemson with her husband Kevin and son Jay.
